Shimmer was founded in 2021 by Christal (Chris) Wang, a neurodiverse entrepreneur who was diagnosed with ADHD later in life. Frustrated by the lack of affordable, quality behavioral coaching solutions, Wang left Berkeley-Haas’ MBA/MPH program to start Shimmer alongside CTO Vikram Sreedhar, a Stanford graduate with nonprofit experience.
