League of Innovators

League of Innovators (LOI) operates as Canada’s singular accelerator specifically targeting young founders aged 15-30. The organization provides comprehensive support designed to expedite ventures while simultaneously cultivating the individual entrepreneur. Its approach focuses on building resilient founders by developing essential mindsets, skills, and the perseverance required to navigate the challenges of startup creation.

Ryan Holmes, CEO of Hootsuite, established the initiative in 2016 with a pilot program. The foundational insight stemmed from the question of whether young founders could avoid having to independently navigate the complexities of entrepreneurship. This initial program expanded, leading to its rebranding as League of Innovators in 2018, becoming a national charity.

LOI serves aspiring and early-stage Canadian entrepreneurs within its defined age demographic. The organization’s overarching vision is to empower the next generation of builders by delivering accessible, world-class founder support at no cost. It aims to foster a long-term development platform, offering enhanced programming and expanded networks to strengthen Canada’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
