Jos Neves Family Fund

The Jos Neves Family Fund, officially Fundação José Neves, is a Portuguese non-profit organization based in Lisbon, focused on elevating Portugal through education and human potential development. It provides scholarships via income share agreements (ISA) for courses in digital, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The fund launched with an initial budget of 5 million euros, aiming to award 1,500 scholarships, and distributed 1 million euros to 150 beneficiaries in its first year. Farfetch founder José Neves committed two-thirds of his assets to the fund, with co-founders Carlos Oliveira and António Murta. The organization was established in May 2019 by José Neves, Carlos Oliveira, and António Murta. Its business model centers on funded by donations, including José Neves' commitment to donate two-thirds of his assets during his lifetime, operates scholarships on a revenue-sharing basis where beneficiaries repay after employment.
