Investitions- und Strukturbank Rheinland-Pfalz (ISB) is the regional promotional bank for Rhineland-Palatinate, based in Mainz, Germany, providing funding loans, venture capital, and support programs to foster company growth and innovation across all stages. Operating as a public promotional bank funded by the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, ISB assists small and medium-sized enterprises and startups, including those under five years old, through various financing concepts. In 2024, ISB provided €3.5 million in funding to biotech company ActiTrexx, adding to its portfolio which also includes a stake in Mainz startup LIME medical.
