InterGen

InterGen is a developer, owner, and operator of power generation facilities, primarily in the UK, headquartered in Edinburgh, Midlothian. The company manages a portfolio of thermal and gas-fired power plants, pipelines, and associated energy infrastructure, with operations also extending to Australia. Currently, InterGen operates four power plants in the UK with a combined generating capacity exceeding 2,800 MW, capable of powering approximately 1.07 million homes annually. Its total portfolio capacity, including one facility under construction, reaches 4,213 MW. The organization reported $158.7 million in revenue and maintains a workforce of 370 employees. InterGen is jointly owned by institutional investors, including the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, China Huaneng Group, and Guangdong Yudean Group, and was incorporated in 1998.
