Insure & Match Capital

Insure & Match Capital (IM Capital) is a Beirut, Lebanon-based organization that provides matching capital, equity guarantees, and support programs to early-stage businesses and investors. As a fully owned subsidiary of Berytech Foundation, IM Capital operates a $15 million fund, aiming to reduce investment risks in startups through technical assistance, mentoring, and capitalization encouragement. The organization has invested over $10 million across 25 Lebanese startups, fostering growth in sectors like educational technology, agri-food, and online platforms. IM Capital has also created five groups of angel investors, trained over 800 entrepreneurs, and contributed to the creation of over 300 jobs. Through initiatives like the USAID MENA Investment Initiative, which supported over 130 SMEs and created or sustained over 200 jobs, IM Capital continues to de-risk early-stage investments in Lebanon. Maroun Chammas has been associated with the organization's celebratory events.
