Innvierte is an innovation co-investment program operated by Spain's CDTI (Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial), actively supporting early-stage technology companies across Europe. The program primarily targets deeptech and climate tech sectors, providing crucial capital alongside private investors to accelerate innovative solutions. Notable participants in co-investments include private investor Jan Bonel, contributing to a diverse funding ecosystem. Recently, between April 28 and May 2, 2025, Innvierte facilitated co-investments that collectively secured nearly €103 million for female founders in medtech, edtech, and cleantech. This government-backed initiative aims to foster technological development and innovation by strategically bridging funding gaps for promising European startups. Established in 2015, Innvierte plays a significant role in the region's early-stage investment landscape. Its business model centers on government-backed co-investment fund that provides capital to startups alongside private investors.
