Grote family

Grote Industries, headquartered in Madison, Indiana, develops and manufactures innovative visibility and safety systems, including LED lighting components, reflectors, and wiring systems for a wide range of vehicle applications. The company pioneered technologies such as the first retro-reflective reflector, injection-molded plastic products, and modular trailer wiring. Operating as a family-owned manufacturer for over 120 years, Grote has expanded globally, establishing facilities in Canada in 1965 and Mexico in 1992. It serves a diverse array of transportation markets, supplying heavy truck fleets, automotive, and vehicle manufacturers in on-highway, off-highway, and trailer sectors. In 2022, the fourth generation, including Dominic Grote, John Grote, and Mike Grote, acquired 100% control of the company. Grote Industries was founded in 1901 by William D. Grote.
