GoldenSand Capital is a Hong Kong-based private equity and venture capital firm that provides capital and strategic guidance to early-stage technology, new energy, and fintech companies. The firm operates as an independent entity stemming from the broader GSR organization, which currently manages approximately $3.7 billion in total assets across its various investment funds. The core investment strategy focuses on identifying startups building transformative industries, with a specific emphasis on semiconductors, solar energy, lithium iron phosphate materials, and solid-state battery technology. Notable portfolio activity includes a $5 million equity investment in the blockchain platform tZERO, alongside historical investments in Silevo Solar and SEEO, which were subsequently acquired by Tesla and Bosch, respectively.
