GenZero is a Singapore-based investment platform that deploys long-term capital into global climate solutions and decarbonization initiatives. The firm focuses its investments across technology-based solutions like carbon capture, nature-based projects such as forest conservation, and carbon ecosystem enablers including climate advisory and trading infrastructure. Operating as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the global investment firm Temasek, the organization manages a portfolio of 24 climate-focused ventures across 17 countries. The platform operates with approximately 28 employees and generates under $5 million in revenue while delivering 3 million metric tons of CO2 equivalent in direct realized climate impact. Additionally, the firm oversees more than 752,000 hectares of land under sustainable management and targets 7 million tons of cumulative climate impact by 2028. Currently led by chief executive officer Frederick Teo, GenZero was founded in 2022 by Temasek.
