GENDA Capital is a Minato-ku, Tokyo-based private equity firm and the investment arm of GENDA Inc., focused on acquiring and operating businesses within the entertainment and gaming sectors. The firm manages private equity vehicles, including its inaugural GENDA Capital Fund I, to execute mergers and acquisitions across the amusement facility industry. Backed by major shareholder Midas Capital, the organization leverages the operational expertise of its parent company, which completed an initial public offering on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market under ticker 9166 in July 2023. The group's expansion strategy was accelerated by the December 2020 acquisition of GiGO Entertainment, transforming the enterprise into a major arcade operator. GENDA Capital was established in November 2023 to formalize the investment operations of GENDA Inc., which was originally founded in May 2018 by Nao Kataoka and Mai Shin.
