Future Cities Accelerator

Future Cities Accelerator is a Denver, Colorado-based startup support program that provides funding, mentorship, and strategic guidance to early-stage ventures addressing urban inequality and poverty across the United States. The initiative operates as a collaborative venture between the social impact organization Uncharted and The Rockefeller Foundation, which provided the program's initial philanthropic capital. During its operational run, the accelerator distributed a total of $1 million in non-dilutive funding, specifically awarding $100,000 grants to a single cohort of 10 selected organizations chosen from a competitive national applicant pool. The program's investment portfolio includes notable civic technology and environmental impact startups such as Propel, BioCellection, CityGrows, mRelief, and Raheem AI. Future Cities Accelerator was officially founded in 2016 as a specialized initiative by Uncharted, an accelerator network originally established by co-founders Daniel Epstein and Teju Ravilochan.
