Fundamental VC is a sector-agnostic early-stage venture capital firm based in Bengaluru, India, that provides pre-seed and seed funding to emerging startups. The firm focuses on initial investments of up to $1.5 million per company across various industries, including consumer internet, healthcare, insurance, financial services, software-as-a-service, gaming, and artificial intelligence. To support its investment strategy, the firm launched its debut fund with a target corpus of $130 million, aiming to back approximately 30 startups over a two-year period. The firm raises capital from domestic and international limited partners, and its recent investment activity includes leading a $750,000 seed funding round for portfolio company Jodaro. Additionally, the partners' prior angel investments feature recognizable technology startups such as Agnikul, BluSmart, and Dukaan. Fundamental VC was founded in 2022 by Saswat Sundar and Abhishek Rathi.
