Farmak

Farmak is a leading Ukrainian pharmaceutical manufacturer, developing over 400 medicinal products across 14 therapeutic groups. Specializing in anti-cold, endocrinological, gastrointestinal, cardiac, and neurological remedies, it maintains European GMP-certified facilities in Kyiv and Shostka. The company integrates research and development to produce prescription and over-the-counter drugs, including genetically engineered human insulins.

Established in 1925 as the Lomonosov Kyiv Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plant, it addressed regional medical needs. Following privatization in the 1990s, the enterprise reorganized into JSC Farmak, becoming a market-driven pharmaceutical leader. This evolution reflects continuous innovation and expansion; Filya Zhebrovska currently chairs its supervisory board.

Farmak exports products to over 40 countries including Europe, the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East. Reinvesting approximately 90% of its profits, the company dedicates capital to research and development.
