Largest inter-university consortium and dissemination platform for French-language scholarly resources in Canadian humanities and social sciences.
Erudit is a Canadian interuniversity consortium that operates a digital dissemination platform for French scholarly resources in the humanities and social sciences. The organization provides digital infrastructure and advanced metadata processing for academic publishing, having grown from an initial pilot of five scholarly journals to disseminating approximately 40 journals by 2004. It serves as a flagship academic repository, supporting the publication needs of major academic institutions such as Université de Montréal, Université Laval, and Université du Québec à Montréal. Over its 25 years of development, the platform has established a multidisciplinary digital infrastructure to increase the visibility and accessibility of academic research.
