Bizrupt

Bizrupt is a non-profit organization cultivating an innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem across the Greek region. It delivers programs to inspire, educate, and support aspiring and existing entrepreneurs. Offerings include informational events like Open Coffee, structured training and mentorship via Foundit and VentureGarden, and research commercialization initiatives, fostering new ventures.

Established in 2017, Bizrupt began as a volunteer group organizing entrepreneurial meetups like Open Coffee Heraklion. Recognizing a clear need for structured local support, the group formalized into a non-profit entity. Alexandra Karapidaki and Konstantinos Vassakis are key leaders, guiding Bizrupt’s evolution from community events to a comprehensive development platform.

Bizrupt serves young and potential entrepreneurs, and researchers, aiming to launch or expand businesses within Greece. The organization provides accessible entrepreneurial resources, empowering individuals to validate and commercialize their ideas.
