Emoote is a Web3 venture capital firm focused on the digital entertainment, media, and gaming sectors, operating primarily out of headquarters in Singapore and Tokyo, Japan. The organization targets early-stage startups developing decentralized applications across GameFi, non-fungible tokens, and the broader Metaverse ecosystem. Backed entirely by the publicly traded Japanese entertainment enterprise Akatsuki Inc., led by chief executive officer Tetsuro Koda, the firm manages a dedicated $20 million investment fund to deploy across global markets. Beyond providing direct financial capital through token investments, the firm supports its portfolio companies by facilitating strategic introductions to Japanese intellectual property holders and digital creators. The venture capital entity has executed investments in over 20 distinct blockchain projects, including the prominent move-to-earn lifestyle application STEPN.
