British Fashion Council

Founded in 1983, the British Fashion Council emerged from an industry need for a unified body to champion UK fashion globally. Cyril Kern, then chief executive of Reldan, served as its first chairman. The founding insight centered on providing a cohesive platform to showcase British design and offer vital strategic and commercial support to designers.
