Blue Oceans Partners is a Paris, France-based impact investment firm that provides venture capital to startups developing scalable solutions for ocean sustainability, including technologies addressing overfishing, marine pollution, and climate change. Operating as part of SWEN Capital Partners, the firm manages the SWEN Blue Ocean I fund, which closed at €170 million after exceeding its initial €120 million target. The investment vehicle secured more than 85 percent of its capital commitments from institutional backers to finance systemic environmental improvements alongside competitive market returns. The firm's limited partners and strategic collaborators include prominent organizations such as Bpifrance, Builders Vision, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, and the French research institute Ifremer. Additionally, the firm co-founded the 1000 Ocean Startups Coalition to support the broader ecosystem. Blue Oceans Partners was founded in 2021 by Christian Lim and Olivier Raybaud.
