Sequoia Arc Americas Fall 2022

Sequoia Arc Americas Fall 2022 was the first Americas-focused cohort, running from September to October 2022 in Menlo Park, California. This batch expanded Arc beyond Europe to serve founders in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. Each of the 17 companies received $1 million upfront upon acceptance. The 7-week program followed the template established by the inaugural European cohort: in-person intensive sessions at Sequoia's offices combined with remote work periods. The Americas batch benefited from proximity to Silicon Valley's deep technology ecosystem and Sequoia's extensive US portfolio network. The curriculum was led by Sequoia partners with visiting instructors from portfolio companies and the broader technology ecosystem. Companies were selected through an open application process—notably, warm introductions were not required, and all applicants were evaluated on equal terms using data science signals. The Fall 2022 cohort demonstrated that Arc's model could successfully translate across geographies while maintaining the intimate cohort size and high-touch mentorship that distinguished it from larger accelerator programs.
