Accelerator for early-stage impact tech startups, offering investment, mentorship, and scaling support for UN SDGs.
Katapult Accelerator is a 90-day digital accelerator program and investment fund administered by Katapult VC. The program provides selected early-stage companies with initial equity investments ranging from €150,000 to €500,000 for up to an 8% stake, alongside potential follow-on capital of up to €4 million. Operating with over $100 million in assets under management, the firm has invested in more than 160 startups across 47 countries within the climate tech, agritech, and foodtech sectors. The accelerator operates in conjunction with affiliated entities and specialized tracks, including Katapult Ocean, Katapult Climate, Katapult Africa, and the Katapult Foundation. Participants must have a minimum viable product and early market traction to qualify. This resource is intended for early-stage impact technology startups addressing United Nations Sustainable Development Goals that require seed funding, scaling mentorship, and investor readiness training.
Katapult is a 12-week impact-focused accelerator based in Oslo, Norway, investing in startups that use technology to solve climate and sustainability challenges. The 2026 cohort application deadline is April 25, 2026. Katapult invests approximately EUR 150,000 via convertible note in each company, and the program is remote-friendly for international founders.
Since launching, Katapult has supported over 200 startups from more than 60 countries, with a portfolio that spans clean energy, circular economy, sustainable agriculture, and climate adaptation.
Katapult provides capital, structured mentorship from impact-focused operators and investors, and access to a global network of climate tech founders. The program includes weekly workshops on product development, fundraising, and impact measurement. Companies get direct introductions to impact-focused VCs and corporate partners in the Nordics and beyond. The program culminates in a demo day with curated investors.
Katapult targets tech-enabled startups with measurable environmental or social impact. Your product should address a clear climate or sustainability challenge - clean energy, waste reduction, sustainable food systems, water access, or similar areas. You should be at the pre-seed to seed stage with a working prototype or early traction. Global applicants are welcome, and the program has a strong track record of supporting founders from emerging markets.
What sets Katapult apart is its rigorous approach to impact. Every portfolio company works with the Katapult team to define and track impact KPIs alongside financial metrics. This dual focus makes Katapult alumni attractive to the growing pool of impact-focused investors who require quantifiable social and environmental outcomes.
