Pre-accelerator program for early-stage tech founders, mastering fundraising skills and preparing for investment and growth.
Funding Breakthrough Lab 2026 is a three-month pre-accelerator program administered by the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Funding Breakthrough Lab. The ten-week curriculum features specialized cohort tracks for software-as-a-service, financial technology, and health technology startups. Participants receive over eight hours of weekly live content, including Tuesday workshops, Wednesday pitch practices, and Thursday group mentoring sessions scheduled from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. The hybrid program maintains a one-to-one supporter-to-founder ratio, utilizes a network of more than forty speakers, mentors, and active investors, and incorporates an in-person opening retreat, a demo day, and a closing retreat. Applications are evaluated on a rolling basis, requiring founders to complete an approval process before submitting a $100 deposit. This resource serves early-stage tech founders at the ideation, bootstrapping, pre-seed, or seed stages who plan to secure institutional fundraising within six months.
Most accelerators assume founders already know how to raise capital. Funding Breakthrough Lab makes fundraising the entire curriculum. This 3-month pre-accelerator is built specifically for founders who are pre-seed or seed stage and want structured, expert-led training on how to navigate the funding landscape before they start pitching investors.
