Cohere for Good

Cohere for Good is a startup program administered by Cohere that provides early-stage companies with discounted access to enterprise-grade large language models and technical development support. Launched in June 2024, the zero-equity initiative accepts applications on a rolling basis and offers eligible businesses a 25% discount on all proprietary AI models for up to 12 months. Participants affiliated with partner venture capital firms or accelerators can historically receive up to $100,000 in API credits to integrate advanced natural language processing capabilities. The administering company, which recently secured a $500 million Series D funding round at a $5.5 billion valuation, is backed by prominent investors including Nvidia, Salesforce Ventures, Cisco, and Index Ventures. The resource is intended for pre-seed through Series B startups building products that require scalable artificial intelligence for text generation, classification, and retrieval-augmented generation.
