Zoe Sheill

Zoe Sheill is the Co-founder of Baseline AI, a healthcare technology startup based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 2023 and backed by Y Combinator as part of its Summer 2024 batch, the two-person company develops artificial intelligence platforms designed to automate clinical trial processes such as study builds and data transformation. The software targets the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, aiming to reduce operational costs by up to $18 million per phase three clinical trial process. Prior to launching Baseline AI, Sheill gained technical experience working in machine learning and software engineering roles at prominent technology companies including SpaceX, YouTube, and Slack. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computation and Cognition from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her current focus centers on leveraging machine learning to accelerate clinical research and streamline healthcare data infrastructure.
