Zhong Xu is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Deliverect, a restaurant technology and digital food delivery management company based in Ghent, Belgium. Prior to establishing Deliverect in 2018, he co-founded POSios, a cloud-based point-of-sale software startup that was acquired by Lightspeed Commerce in 2014. Following the acquisition, Xu served as the Global Director of Hospitality at Lightspeed, where he managed the integration and expansion of the company's restaurant software division. Under his leadership, Deliverect has processed over 100 million orders globally and secured a $1.4 billion valuation following a $150 million Series D funding round led by Coatue and Alkeon Capital in 2022. Holding a master's degree in software engineering from Ghent University, Xu currently focuses on scaling cloud-based infrastructure to streamline omnichannel operations for the global hospitality and retail industry.
