Zexia Zhang is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Retell AI, an artificial intelligence startup focused on developing advanced conversational voice agents. Prior to establishing Retell AI, Zhang spent four years at Alphabet Inc.'s Google, where he led critical engineering initiatives focused on next-generation speech translation and natural language processing for automated call analysis. His technical expertise spans machine learning, speech recognition, and natural language processing, effectively bridging the gap between fundamental algorithmic research and commercial product development. In his current capacity as Chief Technology Officer, he directs the core technological architecture and product engineering strategies required to build highly scalable voice artificial intelligence solutions. He manages the deployment of these systems for enterprise clients. Zhang maintains a primary focus on advancing frontier speech technologies and deploying complex machine learning models to optimize human-computer interactions.
