Zeeshan Hyder

Zeeshan Hyder is the Managing Partner at 1628 Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Before launching his current firm, he served as a Venture Partner at 500 Global and was the CEO of Bazaar Technologies, an e-commerce platform that reached over $100 million in gross merchandise value before its unicorn exit to Ant Financial in 2022. His earlier operational experience includes leadership roles in the microfinance sector, and he holds an MBA from the Wharton School. Through 1628 Capital, Hyder has completed more than 20 investments, including backing spin-offs from Careem, and launched the firm's second fund in 2024 with a $50 million target. His current focus centers on bridging capital and operational expertise for early-stage fintech, logistics, and consumer internet startups across South Asia and emerging markets.
