Zai Shi

Zai Shi is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Logto, an open-source identity and access management platform. Under his leadership, the company has developed a highly scalable authentication solution that serves as a direct alternative to proprietary systems like Auth0, successfully accumulating over 15,000 stars on GitHub by early 2026. Shi recently oversaw the strategic release of Logto version 3.0 in the first quarter of 2026, which introduced enhanced multi-tenancy support for complex enterprise environments. In November 2025, he announced a comprehensive redesign of the platform's developer console during an exclusive side event at GitHub Universe, positioning the software alongside other prominent open-source developer tools such as Supabase.
