Zach Rausnitz

Zach Rausnitz is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Centaur Labs, an artificial intelligence and healthcare technology company based in San Francisco, California. Since co-founding the firm in 2017, he has scaled the organization to approximately 31 employees while securing institutional backing from prominent venture capital firms including Y Combinator, Matrix Partners, and Accel. Under his technical leadership, the enterprise successfully closed a Series B funding round led by SignalFire in 2024 to expand its medical data annotation operations. Prior to establishing Centaur Labs, Rausnitz worked as a full-stack software engineer at the Washington City Paper, where he developed his foundational expertise as a self-taught generalist programmer. His current focus centers on driving engineering strategy and scaling technical operations to provide high-quality data labeling for complex artificial intelligence model training within the healthcare sector.
