Zach Ferres

Zach Ferres is the Managing Partner at Zach Ferres Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Bellevue, Washington. He launched the micro-VC fund in the first quarter of 2023 with an initial close of $5 million to target pre-seed and seed-stage investments across artificial intelligence, software-as-a-service, and developer tools. The firm currently manages a portfolio of more than ten investments, including a recent fourth-quarter 2024 allocation into an emerging artificial intelligence coding assistant startup. Prior to establishing his own venture firm, Ferres held engineering and product development roles after earning a bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, and entrepreneurship from Ohio Northern University in 2018. Influenced by major industry players like Andreessen Horowitz and affiliated with regional Y Combinator network events, his current focus centers on funding AI infrastructure and frontier technology startups.
