Zach Berger

Zach Berger is currently a Managing Director on the Tech Opportunities team at Bain Capital. Since joining the private equity firm in 2019, he has specialized in executing technology investments with a primary focus on growth-stage equity opportunities across the enterprise software and consumer internet sectors. Prior to his current position, Berger worked as an Associate in the Technology Group at General Atlantic in New York, where he similarly evaluated and supported growth-stage software and internet businesses. Earlier in his financial career, he served as an investment banker within the Financial Sponsors Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York. He completed his undergraduate education by earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Harvard College. His professional background centers entirely on sourcing, evaluating, and managing private equity investments within the broader technology ecosystem.
