Zach Barasz

Zach Barasz is a Partner at G2 Venture Partners based in Menlo Park, United States, where he focuses on early-stage investments across transportation, manufacturing, and supply chains. Prior to joining G2VP, he served as a Partner at the $500 million BMW i Ventures fund, leading investments in the mobility and manufacturing sectors. His earlier career includes roles at Kleiner Perkins’ Green Growth Fund, Altamont Capital Partners, and the Boston Consulting Group. Over his 13 years of investing experience, Barasz has backed prominent companies such as Xometry, Lime, Proterra, and Locus Robotics. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania, alongside a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University.
