Yuval Tal

Yuval Tal is an Operating Partner and Managing Partner at Team8, a venture capital firm and startup incubator. Before joining Team8, he founded Payoneer in 2005, serving as Chief Executive Officer and President until 2011, and scaling the cross-border payment platform into Israel's first fintech unicorn before its public listing on the NASDAQ. Previously, he founded the ecommerce company Borderfree in 1999, leading it as CEO until 2005 prior to its own NASDAQ debut, and worked as Vice President of Business Development at Radware. Tal holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Engineering from Tel Aviv University and completed the YPO program at Harvard Business School. As an active angel investor, his current focus centers on advising and funding early-stage technology startups specializing in financial technology and digital transformation.
