Yuval Ariav

Yuval Ariav is the Managing Partner at Symbol VC, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Before establishing his current firm, he co-founded and directed investments at PICO Venture Partners and earned a business administration degree from Reichman University. Over his fifteen-year career in technology investing, Ariav has built a portfolio of more than twenty companies and managed over $100 million in assets, completing exits to corporate acquirers including Cisco and Microsoft. His recent transaction activity includes leading a $15 million Series A funding round for the artificial intelligence cybersecurity startup Vigil in 2025 and closing Symbol VC's $50 million Fund III in the first quarter of 2026. Ariav currently focuses on providing seed and Series A capital to Israeli and global startups operating across the enterprise software, financial technology, and artificial intelligence sectors.
