Yuh-geng Tsay

Yuh-geng Tsay, PhD, is a Venture Partner at Vivo Capital, a healthcare-focused investment firm he joined in 2016. Before transitioning to venture capital, he served as Senior Vice President and Group President of the Specialty Diagnostics business at Thermo Fisher Scientific (NYSE: TMO), where he successfully oversaw a division that generated $2 billion in annual revenue until his retirement in 2010. Prior to his corporate leadership roles, he co-founded several diagnostic companies that achieved public listings or were acquired by larger healthcare entities. At Vivo Capital, he provides valuable strategic guidance and expertise to portfolio companies and is associated with the firm's $1.3 billion ninth investment vehicle, Vivo Capital Fund IX.
