Young Chung

Young Chung is a Managing Director at DAG Ventures based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He began his professional career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs before earning both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University. Prior to rejoining DAG Ventures in 2005, Chung gained direct operational experience at Entrisphere, a telecommunications startup that was later acquired by Ericsson. In his current role, he focuses on mid-stage technology investments across the consumer, mobile, and digital health sectors, having led growth rounds for more than 30 portfolio companies. His investment track record includes backing prominent technology firms such as Yelp, RingCentral, and oDesk, alongside successful exits like Birst and Brighter. Chung currently centers his investment strategy on scaling growth-stage technology enterprises through combined financial and operational expertise.
