Yossi Vardi

Yossi Vardi is an Israel-based entrepreneur and investor who currently serves as the Chair of 4YFN and Co-chair of the DLD conference. Over a career spanning more than 47 years, he has founded or co-founded over 85 high-tech companies across the software, internet, mobile, water technology, and electro-optics sectors. His early executive career included serving as the first Director General of Israel's Ministry of Energy and chairing the Israel National Oil Company, before later co-founding energy ventures like Alon oil and Granite Hacarmel. Additionally, Vardi is a co-holder of an early patent for instant messaging on telephones, and he collaborated with the World Economic Forum in 2013 to launch the Breaking the Impasse diplomatic initiative. His current focus remains on fostering global technology ecosystems through early-stage investments and leading major international industry conferences.
