Yoram Snir is a founding partner at 83North, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on technology innovation. He began his venture capital career by joining Greylock Partners in 2005 before establishing Greylock IL, which was later rebranded as 83North in 2006. Prior to his transition into institutional investing, Snir held multiple operational and leadership roles at Cisco Systems following its acquisition of his previous employer, ClassData. Over his 15-year investment career, he has directed capital into enterprise IT infrastructure and cloud technologies, securing notable exits such as the 2021 sale of Siemplify to Google and the acquisition of ScaleIO by EMC, where he served as the board chairman.
