Yoni Cheifetz

Yoni Cheifetz is a Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners based in Tel Aviv, Israel, where he has led the firm's regional investment activity since 2006. Prior to his venture capital career, he spent nearly 15 years as a serial entrepreneur and operator, co-founding software companies including Demantra, which was acquired by Oracle, and Traiana, which was acquired by ICAP. He also managed product and business development for Click Software and currently serves as a board member for SolarEdge Technologies following Lightspeed's investment in the company. Cheifetz earned a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematics from Tel Aviv University and a Master of Science in applied mathematics and computer science from the Weizmann Institute of Science. His current investment focus spans artificial intelligence, enterprise infrastructure, fintech, and deep-tech startups at the seed and early stages.
