Yoni Blau

Yoni Blau is a General Partner at Genesis Ventures based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Prior to assuming this position in March 2025, he served as Managing Partner at Venture Israel, where he directed capital across more than 50 early-stage technology companies. His earlier career includes investment and advisory roles at iAngels and KPMG Enterprise, contributing to a broader portfolio of over 100 startup investments with notable public exits such as JFrog and Riskified. Recently, Blau co-led a $15 million Series A funding round for the artificial intelligence startup Nexa in November 2024. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Ben-Gurion University. Blau currently focuses his capital on seed and Series A investments within the deep tech, cybersecurity, and enterprise software sectors.
