Yoichiro Taku

Yoichiro Taku is a Partner and co-leader of the emerging companies practice at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati in Palo Alto, California. He earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School in 1993 and previously served as a foreign attorney at Nagashima Ohno and Tsunematsu from 1994 to 1995. Throughout his legal career, Taku has completed over 1,000 venture financings and handled the initial incorporations for prominent technology firms that later completed initial public offerings, including Crowdstrike, Agora, and Udemy. He maintains an educational resource website for founders and has been consistently recognized by Chambers USA as a leading practitioner in venture capital law between 2016 and 2023.
