Yi-Jian Ngo

Yi-Jian Ngo is a Seattle, Washington-based angel investor and the former Managing Director of the Alliance of Angels. Before joining the angel network in 2011, he held corporate roles at Microsoft and AT&T. During his 13-year tenure leading the Alliance of Angels, Ngo grew the organization from 60 to 180 members and oversaw the deployment of more than $125 million into over 250 early-stage startups, including DocuSign and Elemental Technologies. Under his leadership, the group reviewed over 150 deals annually and consistently invested between $4 million and $6 million each year, while also raising consecutive innovation funds exceeding $1.3 million in 2022, $1.9 million in 2023, and $2 million in 2024. After stepping down from his executive position in June 2024, Ngo continues to focus on early-stage technology investments across the software, biotechnology, and financial technology sectors.
