Yeefun Lin

Yeefun Lin is a Co-founder and the Chief Technology Officer of Heptabase, a visual knowledge management and learning platform. Alongside co-founders Alan Chan and Ethan Wu, Lin launched the software startup in 2021 and subsequently participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2022 accelerator batch. Under his technical leadership, the enterprise has grown to a core team of approximately 10 employees, secured $1.7 million in initial seed funding, and established a base of paying users across 61 different countries globally. Prior to his current entrepreneurial venture, Lin studied sociology at the National Taiwan University in 2019 before officially transitioning into a professional career as a self-taught software engineer. His current professional focus centers on reinventing complex knowledge management systems by developing advanced visual note-taking and research tools designed specifically for project managers, academic researchers, and software developers.
