Yatong Li

Yatong Li is a Managing Director at Teachers' Venture Growth, the late-stage venture arm of the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, based in Toronto, Canada. Appointed to this leadership position in 2025, Li directs global private equity allocations targeting late-stage venture companies alongside a team of more than thirty investment professionals. The venture growth division currently manages $15 billion in net investments as of December 2025, executing initial direct equity investments ranging from $50 million to $250 million per transaction. Prior to joining the pension fund, Li served as a Principal at Sixty Degree Capital, Inc., a Toronto-based alternative investment manager founded in 2016, where they worked as an investor starting in 2017. Li's current focus centers on scaling late-stage venture growth portfolios supported by the pension plan's broader institutional net asset base of C$279.4 billion.
