Yash Rohera

Yash Rohera is a Partner at Surface Ventures based in New York City, New York. Before entering the venture capital sector, he managed and successfully exited his family's eyewear business, Innovision Optical, where he oversaw a workforce of more than 50 employees between 2013 and 2018. Following a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Auckland and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business, Rohera spent a year at MetaProp Ventures before joining MAVA Ventures as an investor in mid-2020. His investment portfolio includes participation in a $2.5 million seed funding round for Offsight, investing alongside notable firms such as ICONIQ Capital and Flight VC. Rohera currently focuses on allocating capital to early-stage startups operating within the B2B SaaS and FinTech sectors at the pre-seed and seed stages.
