Yash Hemaraj

Yash Hemaraj is a Partner at Benhamou Global Ventures (BGV) and heads the Arka Venture Labs accelerator. In his current role, he leads early-stage technology investments, directing capital into companies such as Folloze, Macrometa, Totango, and Tagnos. Before transitioning to venture capital, Hemaraj worked as an early engineer and product manager at SpiderCloud Wireless, a telecommunications company that was later acquired by Corning Incorporated. During his engineering career, he secured four patents in indoor wireless systems before earning an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He also holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Engineering from NIT Karnataka. Hemaraj currently focuses on advising business-to-business startups and investing in intelligent automation, robotics, and customer-centric applications utilizing artificial intelligence and machine learning.
