Yaron Samid

Yaron Samid is a serial entrepreneur and fintech innovator who specializes in fraud detection and digital payment systems. He previously served as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CashShield from 2011 until its acquisition by Feedzai in October 2020. Under his leadership, the fraud prevention platform protected more than 300 million transactions annually and secured enterprise clients including PayPal and Visa. In 2013, he co-founded Lamassu, a hardware company that successfully deployed over 2,500 Bitcoin ATMs globally, and he also developed the blockchain verification system CryptoMeter. Samid completed his education with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Maryland College Park and studied Industrial and Business Management at the Technion Israel Institute of Technology. His professional background centers on developing scalable infrastructure for digital payments, blockchain technology, and enterprise cybersecurity.
