Yanev Suissa is the Founder and Managing General Partner at SineWave Ventures, a venture capital firm in the Washington DC area bridging the government and commercial technology sectors. Before launching the firm with a $100 million fund, he was an investor at New Enterprise Associates and a Senior Investment Officer under the Bush and Obama administrations. During his government tenure, Suissa was the first person hired to build the Federal Loan Program, which eventually grew to manage approximately $150 billion. Through SineWave Ventures, he directs capital into early stage growth companies, participating in a $25.2 million funding round for Tamr and a $10 million round for APX Labs. Equipped with physics degrees from the United States Air Force Academy and the Air Force Institute of Technology, he currently targets startups focused on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and decision analytics.
