Yair Vardi

Yair Vardi is a Co-founder and Partner at Fusion, a pre-seed venture capital fund and accelerator based in Los Angeles, California. Alongside co-founder Guy Katsovich, he established the firm in 2017 to back Israeli founders operating in the United States, successfully growing the portfolio to over 100 early-stage technology companies. In 2022, the firm closed its first institutional vehicle, Fusion Fund II, with $20 million in capital commitments. Prior to launching Fusion, Vardi served as the Director of 8200 EISP, the first startup accelerator in Israel, where he managed operations and supported numerous emerging ventures. His foundational experience stems from his service as an officer in Unit 8200, the elite intelligence division of the Israel Defense Forces. Vardi holds a degree from Tel Aviv University and currently focuses on identifying and scaling pre-seed Israeli startups across the American market.
