Yair Dovrat

Yair Dovrat is a Systems Engineer at Cloudflare, where he leads product development for the Zaraz web performance optimization platform. He previously served as the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Zaraz, an edge computing startup that participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2020 batch and secured a seed funding round in May 2020. Under his executive leadership, the company developed technology to optimize third-party scripts on websites and was subsequently acquired by Cloudflare in a December 2021 transaction. Beyond his engineering work, which recently included launching server-side rendering support for X and Instagram embeds in July 2024, he is the author of the book "First Angel" and has published articles in Haaretz. Dovrat currently focuses his professional efforts on advancing edge computing infrastructure, enhancing digital privacy protocols, and improving third-party tool management for enterprise web applications.
